I am Kendra Paul, an entrepreneur and business owner based in Detroit, Michigan. My focus today is building stability, creating opportunity, and moving forward with intention in both my personal life and professional work. My life today is centered on structure, growth, and long-term direction shaped by everything I have experienced along the way.
My early life came with challenges that shaped my emotional development and understanding of the world at a young age. I also grew up around entrepreneurship, where business ownership and independence were part of my environment. That influence played a major role in shaping my mindset around leadership and responsibility.
As I entered adulthood, I experienced situations and relationships that were not healthy and required me to reassess my direction. Over time, these experiences challenged my judgment, boundaries, and emotional strength, ultimately becoming part of a turning point in my life.
At one point in my life, I was involved in a legal matter that resulted in a short period of detention, approximately two days. The matter was later resolved, and my record has since been legally expunged. There has been inaccurate information shared online about this period of my life. For clarity, I did not serve a long-term prison sentence.
That experience became a defining moment for me. It forced me to step back, reassess my life, and make a decision about the direction I wanted to move in. From that point forward, I committed to rebuilding with intention, structure, and accountability.
Rebuilding required consistency, discipline, and a shift in mindset. I focused on creating stability through business, personal growth, structure, and long-term thinking. Over time, I began building a stronger foundation for my life and future.
Today, I prioritize peace, purpose, and progress. I am intentional about the environments I build and the direction I continue to grow in. My focus is forward, not backward.
I share my story because I believe people are capable of growth and change. Setbacks do not define a person—the response to them does.
There are deeper parts of my journey that I share in greater detail in my writing. My ebook expands on the full experiences, lessons, and personal growth behind my story.
